WHISMICAL MOTION FOR A WONDERFUL COPENHAGEN

On the cusp of the pandemic, I was invited to create playful, energetic motion graphics for a campaign by VisitDenmark and Wonderful Copenhagen. Working with existing footage, my role was to visually amplify the city’s spirit—from the buzzing nightlife of the Meatpacking District to the calm waters around the architectural swim spot, Sneglen.

I developed a series of animated overlays in Procreate and After Effects, using bold typography, hand-drawn playful illustrations and rhythmic movement to echo the spoken-word narrative. The result is a layered portrait of Copenhagen, highlighting all that makes this a fantastic city to both visit and live in.
